Here in the Piedmont Triad, our story coincides with that of our owner and general manager Jeff Trinh. Having grown up in his father’s construction business in Charleston, South Carolina and after an 18 year career in corporate finance, Jeff in 2015 became the 24th franchisee in Storm Guard’s nationally recognized network of general contractors.  Our team of professionals strive to provide our clients with the utmost in quality construction and memorable customer service.

In many cases, our services are covered by your property insurance policy. However, if the damage is not covered by your policy, our team of professionals can provide you with a reasonable quote to get your property repaired and back to its best condition.

Meet Our Team

Jeff Trinh – Owner and General Manager

After growing up in the construction industry with his father’s business in Charleston, South Carolina, Jeff earned a BS in Business Administration and MBA from The Citadel.  He then went on to an 18-year corporate finance career working in textiles and trucking for Burlington Industries and the Volvo Group.  His passion for quality and customer service led him to open Storm Guard’s 24th franchise location serving the Piedmont Triad and surrounding areas.  He and his wife Barbara reside in Winston-Salem with their two daughters (Chloe and Millie) and one son (Eliott). Outside of work, he serves as the deacon of children’s ministry at South Fork Church of Christ and frequently volunteers as coach of youth sports teams.  He enjoys playing soccer, running, and most of all spending time with his family.

Viviana DeMachorro-Finance Manager

As the Finance Manager, Viviana is responsible for, you guessed it, all things finance! She has over 25 years’ experience in office administration, bookkeeping, banking and customer service. In addition to her important role in finance, Viviana also communicates with insurance companies and—being fluent in both English and Spanish—translates for our Spanish speaking customers. Originally from Cranston, Rhode Island, Viviana moved to Greensboro, North Carolina in 2003, where she currently resides with her husband, two daughters, and beloved pets. When she isn’t working, she enjoys volunteering within her community and church, playing soccer, and spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, and fishing.

Carmen Garcia-Sales and Marketing Coordinator

In her role as the Sales and Marketing Coordinator, Carmen is responsible for maintaining a strong media presence across all Storm Guard of the Piedmont social platforms and creating engaging content for both the website and social media. She also handles tasks related to customer service and sales support. She is currently finishing a degree in Communication Media at North Carolina State University and has a strong background in customer service and social media management. While she was born in Georgia, Carmen has spent most of her life living in various parts of North Carolina. She currently resides in Winston-Salem with her boyfriend and a host of pets she lovingly refers to as her “fur-children”. When she is not at work, Carmen enjoys traveling to new places, spending time outdoors, going to yoga class, and cooking. She recently spent almost 6 weeks “backpacking” around Europe!

Brooks Boswell-Production Manager

As the Production Manager, Brooks has a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction, quality of work, and timely completion of projects. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production—scheduling projects, ordering materials, communicating with customers, managing and moving crews, conducting site visits, and serving as a major point of contact for everyone involved in the production process. Brooks has almost 21 years’ experience in residential construction and remodeling! Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Brooks moved to North Carolina approximately four years ago, and he currently resides in the Triad with his family. When he isn’t working, he enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and kayaking. A few years back he also spent time doing missionary work in Uganda.

Barry Artis-Production Support

In his Production Support role, Barry is responsible for assisting our production manager with all things production. His role helps to ensure that the production process runs as smoothly as possible. Barry has a degree in drafting and design and over 7 years experience in interior home renovation and design. Originally from Eden, North Carolina, Barry currently resides in Winston Salem with his wife and children. When he isn’t working, Barry loves to spend time with his family, take trips to the beach, and spend as much time as possible near the water!

Sales:

Our sales team is the first point of contact for our clients and serves as the face of our company.  Their role is to assess client needs, educate, and propose the best solutions to address those needs.  They are split into two areas of expertise:

  • Our Storm Damage Specialists are trained and experienced at assessing properties for storm damage and assisting property owners through the insurance process when applicable
  • Our Retail Sales Specialists are versed with the latest in construction solutions that will update a “tired” property and bring it back to life.

Nick Means-Sales Consultant & Property Inspector

Nick has been in the roofing industry for 3 years and has almost 10 years’ experience in customer service, sales, and hospitality. He currently resides in the Triad area with his family. When Nick isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, and he loves to go fishing!!

 

 

Rob Averill-Sales Consultant & Property Inspector

Rob is another member of our sales team with a specific focus on retail sales! Rob has over 16 years in the exterior home renovation industry. He currently resides in his hometown of Winston-Salem, with his wife and two young children. When he’s not at work, Rob spends his time as a spotter on a Nascar team!!

 

Perry Williams-Sales Consultant & Property Inspector

Perry has a strong background in in customer service and sales—having over 30 years’ experience in the field! Perry currently resides in Winston-Salem with his family. When he isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his two children, his black lab, and he loves cycling. Perry is also a certified personal trainer and enjoys all things fitness related!
